Management Information Systems
One place where management can see what is actually happening.
Inventory in one spreadsheet, staff records in another, sales in a notebook — and no single figure anyone trusts. We build internal systems that hold the operational record properly: role-based access, an audit trail, and reporting that comes from the same data the team enters day to day.
Typical investment
KES 900,000 – 4,000,000
Per project
Departments and reports covered, approval hierarchies, and KRA eTIMS or M-Pesa reconciliation. Configuring an established open-source ERP instead of building custom costs materially less — we will say so if that is the better fit.
KES 4,000,000 – 8,000,000+
Per project
A full custom build, for when no existing platform fits. Multi-location operations, complex approval chains, and deep integration with government systems.
The band narrows to a single fixed price in a signed statement of work before any work begins. See bands for every service.

How we work
From first call to handover
- 01
Discovery call
A free 30-minute conversation about the problem, the constraints and the budget range. If we are not the right fit, we say so on this call.
- 02
Scope & written quote
We define what the first release includes and excludes, then quote it as a fixed price in a statement of work you can take to procurement.
- 03
Design & architecture
Screens and data model agreed before the build. Changing a diagram is cheaper than changing a shipped feature.
- 04
Build in increments
Short cycles with something reviewable at the end of each. You see progress in a working environment, not in a status report.
- 05
Test & launch
Functional, performance and security checks, a staged rollout with a rollback path, and a launch date agreed rather than announced.
- 06
Handover & support
Documentation, training and code in a repository you own — followed by a support retainer if you want us to keep it running.
Questions
What buyers ask before signing
Can you migrate our existing spreadsheets?
Yes, and it is worth budgeting for properly. Real data is always messier than expected, so we import, reconcile and give you a report of anything that could not be cleanly mapped.
Can it run without reliable internet?
Where connectivity is genuinely unreliable we deploy locally with cloud sync, or design offline-tolerant data capture. That is a decision to make at design time, not after.
Is this compliant with the Data Protection Act?
We build the technical controls the Act expects — access control, encryption in transit and at rest, retention rules and audit logging. Registration with the ODPC and your internal policies remain your responsibility, and we will point you at what is required.
Let's scope your management systems work
Tell us the problem and the constraints. You get a written scope and a fixed price within three working days — or an honest note that this is not something we should take on.
